Project submission  FAQs

  • Agroecological projects are those that aim to promote biodiversity, soil health, and natural resource conservation while also improving the economic well-being of farmers and their communities. Agroecology considers the whole agroecosystem, including social, economic, and environmental factors, and seeks to develop holistic solutions that balance the needs of people, planet, and profit.

  • When evaluating agroecological projects AGRii DAO will consider factors such as the potential market demand for the product or technology, the scalability and replicability of the project, and the potential for generating revenue or attracting investment. Projects that meet these criteria and have the potential for significant commercial value will be given priority by the DAO.

  • Either farmers or researchers can apply but an established collaboration between them is needed.

Farmers= family farmers including small holders, indigenous peoples, mountain farmers and pastoralists .
